| The World Congress of History Producers announced today the election of its first Board of Directors. The Board will provide guidance and stability to the annual World Congress of History Producers event and serve to galvanize the interests of this growing and very important television genre. The Board consists of 13 leading executives selected by the history and biography television community as represented by the delegates to the most recent Congress held in Toronto. Of the 13, twelve were elected in a very popular election and one was acclaimed by the nominating committee as Host Broadcaster. The next annual Congress will take place Rome, Italy in late 2005. |
