All Roads Lead To Rome
Rome. The mere name of this revered city invokes a myriad of images, legends and
memories. Rome is the Eternal City - home to a culture that has shaped Western Civilization
for more than 2,000 years.
Everyone has an image of Rome - the monuments, ancient Imperial ruins, the ghostly
protagonists of history; the awe-inspiring and exquisite Roman architecture, the breathtaking
Renaissance art; the gilded palaces of Vatican City; the picturesque Roman hills; the charismatic
culture; the gastronomic delights. This is the city where the 'dolce vita' was born.
No city in the world reflects this history of human endeavours quite as much as Rome. With
so much to captivate, the Eternal City beckons travellers from far and wide, lending credence
to the oft-repeated phrase that "All roads lead to Rome..."

In December 2005 all roads once again lead to Rome as RAI Educational proudly hosts the
5th Annual World Congress of History Producers.
The World Congress of History Producers is a 21st century forum - a gathering for the most
talented and creative producers and broadcasters from around the world whose business and passion
is telling the stories of history.

Comments from 2004 Delegates
The 2004 edition of The World Congress of History Producers was held in Toronto in October
and by all accounts it was an outstanding success. We asked the 400+ delegates to complete our
post-congress survey and here is what the respondents told us.
